who we are
EASE PH (Philippines - Ease of Doing Business Foundation, Inc.) is the operating arm of the Buklod Bayani Coalition (BBC). Born out of BBC’s mission to build a more inclusive and sustainable nation, EASE PH exists to bring together the private sector, government, and civil society in advancing reforms that promote the ease of doing business. EASE PH is the lead developer of the inclusive business (IB) ecoystem in the Philippines.
why we exist
The business sector is one of the most powerful catalysts for sustainable development. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) alone contribute significantly to GDP and employ more than 60% of the Philippine workforce, giving them enormous potential to drive inclusive growth.
Yet, despite strong regulatory frameworks, the Philippines continues to lag in global ease of doing business rankings—citing inefficiencies in public services, operational bottlenecks, and challenges in business entry. These barriers hold back the growth of inclusive businesses (IBs) that can uplift communities and create shared prosperity.
We believe government cannot solve these challenges alone. The private sector must mobilize its resources, expertise, and networks to complement government efforts in advancing ease of doing business and developing the IB ecosystem in the country.

To help build a business-friendly Philippines—an economy where enterprises, from start-ups to large industries, can thrive and contribute meaningfully to inclusive and sustainable development.
HOW WE WORK
EASE adopts an inclusive, whole-of-society approach anchored on dialogue, collaboration, and evidence-based advocacy:
- Uniting voices through consultations with heads of industries that contribute most to GDP and employment.
- Engaging global perspectives by working with ambassadors of top-performing countries in EODB to learn best practices.
- Supporting ARTA, the primary government agency mandated to ensure ease of doing business.
- Driving reform initiatives starting with the One-Process, One-Philippines Strategy (OPPS), a comprehensive review of regulatory processes launched on 30 September.
- Delivering solutions by presenting consolidated recommendations—ranging from executive orders to legislative agendas—to the President and relevant government agencies.
